Delhi Daredevils vs Rising Pune Supergiants | IPL 2K16 |Match 33

Delhi Daredevils vs Rising Pune Supergiants | IPL 2K16 |Match 33 DD vs RPS | IPL 2K16 | Match 33 It was a slow start for Delhi daredevils in their first match of Indian Premier League 2016. But they have turned their season around and left everyone astonished by their mind boggling performance. DD led admirably by captain Zaheer Khan, whose creative field settings, mentorship and positivity have yielded rich dividends. Under the watchful eyes of Rahul Dravid and Paddy Upton, the team has fast evolved into one of the most formidable units in the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League. They players are sticking to the basics whether it is bowling or batting. The seniors are taking more responsibilities and youngsters are being given enough opportunities to excel at a stage where performances are taken note of. In stark contrast, Pune’s star studded line-up has failed to justify earlier market support and within just two wins from eight, are stuck in a race to avoid bottom. What could be worse for Rising Pune having already lost Kevin Pietersen, Mitchell Marsh and Faf du Plesis. Australian opener Steven Smith is also on bench because of wrist injury. Match Venue Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, New Delhi Thursday, May 5, 2016 Start Time 2000 (1430 GMT) Match Scorecard (Predicted) With two Wins for RPS in eight matches and with six matches to go, their chances of making it to the Play-offs seems very less. But Indian team skipper MS Dhoni is well known for his turnaround tactics and it won’t be easy for him as he has lost four foreign players. They do have some capable replacement like George Bailey and emerging Australian star Usman Khawaja. Both will need to settle in immediately. The bowling has been weak for Supergiants, with the pacers leaking runs and the lead spinner, R. Ashwin struggling to make an impact, while pacers like Ashok Dinda, Albie Morkel, Thisara Perera have been hit all over the park. RPS has Rajat Bhatia, who along with his gentle medium pace can play a handy knock low down the order. With five bowlers boasting an economy of seven or less, Delhi Daredevils have arguably the best attack in the league and they did a sterling job containing Gujarat Lion’s elite batsmen on Tuesday. Their batting also looks so much stronger than in previous failed campaigns. Quinton de Kock showing his splendid batting skills and capable of destroying line length of bowlers and, if that fails, JP Duminy bolstered the middle order with devastating finishers like Chris Morris and Carlos Braithwaite. Pitch Condition Historically this has been a relatively low-scoring ground. The first four innings totals at Feroz Shah Kotla this term were 111, 164 172 and 186. The first was predictably chased down with ease, but last three proved to be winning scores. As the season goes on, turn will probably become more of a factor, lowering the par score. Someone will be looking to lay bands upwards of 160 or more below 170. You know what I mean!

Gujarat Lions vs Delhi Daredevils | IPL 2K16 | Match 31|

GL vs DD | IPL 2K16| Match 31| Gujarat Lions will aim to bounce back from a shocking defeat in their last match and cement their position at the top of the table when they meet Delhi Daredevils in an Indian Premier League match here on Tuesday. Gujarat Lions three-match winning streak came to an end on Sunday after losing to Kings XI Punjab by 23 runs. Despite the loss Gujarat lions continue to enjoy the top spot in that table with 12 points from eight games. The ever improving Daredevils are not far behind as they are placed third with eight points from six games. The Lions have faced too heavy defeats in the four matches played in Rajkot, and with the ball not coming on to the bat so easily, their batsman have struggled to post big scores. Match Coordinates Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot Tuesday, May 3, 2016 Start time 2000 local (1430 GMT) Match Scorecard Zaheer Khan’s leadership has been central to Daredevils success, as have the performances of their foreign contingent. Chris Morris has been the most effective till now and proved himself as the most impressive buy for Delhi. His fearsome ball striking and effective end-overs bowling make him an important part of the line-up. Sam billings showed his class in his maiden opportunity by scoring a fifty. Delhi Daredevils are yet to confirm any news on JP Duminy, who sat out the last match due to an illness. If JP Duminy found fit, then it would be tough for veteran Zaheer Khan and coaching staff to opt between the South African and Sam Billings. Gujarat Lions batting so far has revolved around explosive openers Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith. When the duo clicks, it becomes a nightmare for the bowlers and even 200 runs on board looks cheesy. Aaron Finch looks fit. He practiced for an hour in the nets and looked fine. On arrival of Finch, arrives a big question. Who he will replace, without having an impact on team combination? All-rounders Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja have been useful with the ball, but have yet to contribute with the bat. They continued their poor batting form against Punjab as well, which should be concern for the Gujarat think tank. Overall it will be a Form, Fitness in focus for both the teams. Rajkot surface is traditionally flat, which means runs on the board and bowlers on the load.
